Not only did we send FOURTEEN boxes to underserved skate communities in India, Kenya and Mozambique, but we also went on our first outreach trip distributing almost 50 skateboards and connected with the skaters across Northern India. Memories were made that will last a lifetime! It was so great to connect with old faces while also meeting so many new friends. We were truly blown away with the thriving skate scene of India. We couldn’t have done it without all the support from our donors and supporters. Thank you all!
For 2023 we’re moving forward with a new team of volunteers who will be helping to increase our impact and expand our presence in the social skate world to help as many skaters around the globe as we can.
With that said, we want to let our followers know that this year we will be reducing our shipments of gear and will focus more on another outreach trip to India later this year where we will be distributing as much gear as we can. While we did send a record number of boxes last year, we also encountered numerous shipping issues, rising costs and corrupt customs agents time and time again. We feel that this path is not sustainable for our organization at the moment and will focus on other methods of impact.
